Name: Opuntia x viridiflora 

Why we love it:  This hardy cacti grows into a nice bushy shape with copper flowers. It is hardy to zone 5 and is native to the Santa Fe hillsides. 

Light: This plant prefers full sun.

Water: Allow the plant to dry between watering. Do not overwater. 

Pet Friendly? Opuntia are non-toxic but spines can be painful.
