Name: Opuntia arenaria 

Why we love it:  This small but mighty cacti is known for its long lasting blooms in a bold yellow to orange colour. It is hardy to zone 5 and stays around 6" tall and wide. 

Light: This plant prefers full sun.

Water: Allow the plant to dry between watering. Do not overwater. 

Pet Friendly? Opuntia are non-toxic but spines can be painful.
