Dischidia Imbricata
Name: Dischidia imbricata
AKA: Kidney plant
Why we love it: Dischidia Imbricata has round leaves which hold tightly to the growing surface, and takes well to coco or moss support poles. The leaves will naturally curl inward - this typically is not a sign of watering issues, but the natural shape of te leaf. This plant has a symbiotic relationship with ants. The umbrella-shaped leaves provide shelter in return the ants for fending off predator insects.
Light: Bright indirect light. Keep this plant out of direct sun
Water: Keep moisture consistent, but let the plant dry slightly between waterings.
Pet Friendly? No, this plant is toxic
Plants are sold in their nursery pots. Ceramic pots and baskets are sold separately.
