Cape Sundew
Name: Drosera capensis 'Typical'
Why we love it: This variety of sundew is the easiest to care for and a great beginner carnivorous plant. This variety doesn't need to go dormant unlike other varieties providing year round interest in your space.
Sundews have leaves covered with trichomes that emit a sticky "dew" to catch and digest prey, providing the plant with essential nutrients. Plus, as it grows, it may even produce baby plantlets, making it a rewarding addition to your space.
Light: Bright indirect to direct light. This plant thrives with several hours of direct light.
Water: Maintain soil moisture, this plant does not want to dry out. Water using distilled water only.
Pet Friendly? Yes, these plants are non-toxic!
Plants are sold in their nursery pots. Ceramic pots and baskets are sold separately.
