Why we love it:  Dark green, flat pads are virtually spineless. White spines appear on old pads only. Abundant flowers of a deep, fuchsia-pink. This cactus is a vigorous grower. This is a cold-tolerant cactus and hardy to zone 3. Height: 15 cm (6") Spread: 60 cm (2')

Light: This plant prefers full sun.

Water: Allow the plant to dry between watering. Do not overwater. 

Pet Friendly? Opuntia are non-toxic but tiny glochids can irritate skin.
