Name: Opuntia whipplei 'Snow Leopard' 

Why we love it:  This hardy cacti is known for its brilliant white spines that can glow when backlit. A plus to the spines are the yellow-green flowers that emerge in the spring to summer. 

Light: This plant prefers full sun.

Water: Allow the plant to dry between watering. Do not overwater. 

Pet Friendly? Opuntia are non-toxic but spines can be painful.
