Name: Mentha spicata

Why we love it: One of the many mint varieties, this variety is most commonly used in drink mixes, baked goods or dried and used in herbal teas. 

Light: Bright indirect light if grown indoors, or morning sun and afternoon shade if grown outdoors. 

Water: Let the top 2-3" dry between waterings. If grown outdoors do not let soil dry completely and use a well draining soil mixture.
