Marimo Moss Ball
These fuzzy green balls are 100% non-invasive spherical algae (they are not actually moss at all!) Marimo moss balls naturally grow in this spherical shape and consist solely of the algae, with no internal object for the algae to grow around.
Keep out of direct sunlight. These plants are native to the cold-water lakes of Northern Japan. Change the water in your jar or bowl once every 2-3 weeks. Remove the Marimo, gently squeeze and roll to retain its shape.
The oldest known Marimo is over 200 years old! Your newest houseplant may turn out to be a family heirloom ;)
Jar and stones are not included. This listing is for Marimo only.
